The speaker gasket shown is 1 of 4 internal gaskets contained in the Æ+Y. We engineered the speaker to ensure the sound comes across with authenticity and crisp clarity, necessary for the acoustic sounds bassist Chris Minh Doky created for the Æ+Y. This was a challenge given the convoluted back cavity (because of the phone’s thinness). We have utilised all the potential spare volume within the phone to generate the high quality acoustic sound.
